Our daily Schedule of Yoga Classes are taught with wisdom and lightheartedness, most of them in the old-school Ashtanga Vinyasa tradition of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois of Mysore, India. We are one of the few studios in Massachusetts teaches traditional Mysore Style Ashtanga Yoga, as it is taught in India. Mysore style Ashtanga address you as an individual, vs. part of a group. Our teachers provide one-on-one, non-competitive, non-appropriative yoga instruction to people of all ages, shapes, sizes and levels of fitness.
You don't need to be young, strong, fit or flexible to practice with us. Only a sincere desire and commitment to learn and practice yoga regularly is necessary. We teach as our teachers have taught us: following the traditional methodology of Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga, but taking into consideration the needs of every student as an individual. We recommend highly that students interested in joining the AYN community make a consistent commitment to practice regularly for at least one month, a minimum of 3 days a week. From this firm ground, students will become aware of an increase in clarity, vitality and overall wellbeing. Commit to yourself! Take the first step, and start with us TODAY!
