Here at AYN we believe community is an important aid in cultivating personal health and wellbeing. We invite all AYN community members to join us this season in a Guided Group Ayurvedic Cleanse, to rest, reset and reboot your energy and wellness.
Are you feeling a little burnt out after the summer? Not quite ready to get back into the full swing ahead? Do you notice dry and itchy skin? Tired eyes? Is your body feeling a little creaky and stiff? These and more, are common symptoms of excess pitta after a hot summer.
The practice of cleansing is considered a vital part of an Ayurvedic lifestyle, with great potential for improved energy, strength, and immunity, as well as a renewed love of life. At its root, an Ayurvedic cleanse improves the strength of agni (the metabolic fire, more commonly known as digestion) in the GI tract and throughout the body by resting and purifying the digestive system.
An Ayurvedic autumn cleanse is focused on drawing toxins and excess pitta out of the tissues and into the digestive tract so that they can be eliminated. While this is sometimes an uncomfortable process, the end result of a cleanse is an improved sense of balance and overall health!
