Formerly Florence Yoga, we moved to downtown Northampton, MA in September 2014 and are located inside Clinic Alternative Therapies at 98 Main Street. All are welcome to join us in our beautiful new space.
Ashtanga Yoga is a therapeutic series of postures designed to open both mind and body, bringing you to optimum wellbeing. With consistency and dedication, it will also make you stronger and more flexible, changing your mind, your view of the world, what you believe is possible, and your potential as a human being.
Our Classes are taught with compassion and lightheartedness, in the tradition of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. We teach people of all ages and fitness, showing you how to do traditional yoga in a way that's suited for your body, and helping you develop a practice that can sustain you for the rest of your life. We offer an early morning and evening Schedule for your convenience.
We are the only studio in the Valley that teaches Mysore Style Ashtanga, as it is taught in India. This method addresses every student as an individual, providing one-on-one traditional yoga instruction based on your body and level of fitness.
You don't need to be young, strong, fit or flexible to practice with us. Only a sincere desire and commitment to learn and to practice regularly is necessary. Join our welcoming community of yoga practitioners of all levels, and you will come to enjoy the benefits of a resilient body, calm mind and flourishing spirit.
