We are a traditional Ashtanga Yoga studio, offering both Led and Mysore style practice, PLUS classes in Yin Yoga and Vinyasa flow. We are cooperatively run and owned by our teachers. Our beautiful space is in the heart of downtown Northampton, inside Clinic Alternative Medicines. We offer a variety of classes to fit your needs and schedule, quality instruction by wise, kind teachers, plus a relaxed and welcoming yoga community.

Take the leap with us on Leap Day 2016 as we expand into a new, beautiful autonomous studio - Suite 210, at 25 Main Street in the Masonic Block, an historic building over a century old, which once housed an extraordinary Masonic Temple (now Karuna Yoga Center) and the law offices of President Calvin Coolidge. We are very excited for this transition into this big, warm, bright space, just a stone's throw from our current location in Clinic.
We welcome all our students - both new and old - to join us for practice at 25 Main, starting Monday, February 29, 2016: 7:30-10:30am Mysore with Michelle and our evening Led All Levels Ashtanga with Anna, from 5:30-6:454pm. Our last class in Clinic will be Sunday, February 28 8:30-10:30am Mysore with Michelle.
We leave Clinic feeling gratitude and fondness for our time there in the brick-walled Great Room. It has been a place of laughter and community and will be missed. A deep "thank you" to Jen Nery of Clinic for the support and generosity she showed us during our almost 18 months in that lovely space.

Our daily Schedule of Yoga Classes are taught with wisdom and lightheartedness, most of them in the Ashtanga tradition of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. We are one of the few studios in Massachusetts that teaches traditional Mysore Style Ashtanga Yoga, as it is taught in India. Mysore style Ashtanga address you as an individual, vs. part of a group. Our teachers provide one-on-one, non-competitive yoga instruction to people of all ages, shapes, sizes and levels of fitness.
You don't need to be young, strong, fit or flexible to practice with us. Only a sincere desire and commitment to learn and practice yoga regularly is necessary.
